Comfort In The Caring Process

With All Due Respect
A seminar in effective, respectful communication

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
John Cassis

In addition to the many other reported stories that threaten to rate our general mass media outlets as "x-rated" organs, we read about Congressional leaders who call for greater civility in discourse, courtesy and respect in behavior; educators and spiritual leaders who champion a greater sense of personal responsibility as the panacea for the wayward direction of our youth, and the woes of unethical business conduct that seem to produce daily headlines.

People who demonstrate respectful and courteous behavior are those who listen well to what others say, observe diligently what others do, and respond to others with appropriate and caring words.  Concern and empathy for others, along with good manners, effective communication and graciousness are qualities of a fine character.

Civility, personal responsibility and ethics are all hailed as the ingredients sorely lacking in our society today.

So how do we recoup?  How do we restore our vision and our direction to maintain our great nation, our great society?  How do we achieve the ideals our founders envisioned for the future of our great country?

How?  Actually, it is a rather simple task.  Just Do What's Right.

And it all boils down to just one word - COMMUNICATION.
It's all about communication, the interaction among people.
Effective Communication is Respectful Communication.
